I had a little from 1979-1989 and is now 37 and is an honorary "niece"....she has been most helpful on where my present little is coming from. It's not as you think...as my former says..."we just tell the social workes what we think they want to hear." |

My little does not have a computer at home and I have been in a position to provide my little’s family with one. However, I consider the risk of exposure to Internet threats much greater than the potential benefits. I have taught computer classes to adults, including classes focusing on the Internet, and have found that protecting children from Internet threats is a tremendous challenge, even for good healthy families and I’m not inclined to encourage my little in this direction. |
