We were so excited to have Sargent Adam Creamer invite our matches out for a private tour of the Army National Guard Base in Fresno, CA on Saturday November 19th. Adam and one of his officers Daniel Tellez gave us a tour of the mechanics of a black-hawk, craft carrier, and a few land vehicles.
Our Littles and Bigs had tons of questions about how each one is assembled and kept up to code. One of the main focuses at their base is aircraft mechanics and service when there are issues with the helicopters. There are so many different components that go into each service for the helicopter and both Adam and Daniel were knowledgeable and eager to answer all our questions.
The best part about our tour was at the end of our time at the base, three of our Littles expressed to the officers their interest in a possible military career. That is what makes a difference and that is why we take the time out of our daily lives to give these children those opportunities.
Thank you again to Sargent Adam Creamer and Officer Daniel Tellez for their time, knowledgeable and dedication to our country with their service!
